San Diego North County Blue Star Mothers is a support group serving the San Diego area military and families. Our founding mothers first came together in September 2005 and meet regularly to share our worries, pride, and devotion to our children who are now serving in every branch of the military. We are an official chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., a group formed during World War II.
The Blue Star Mothers of America is a non-partisan, non-political, non-sectarian, non-discriminatory and non-profit organization. We do not support any political candidate, nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America, as does our organization. Our mission is to support through service:
- United States military personnel who serve or have served honorably and their families
- Veteran's organizations
- Causes that will benefit military personnel
We hope that you will take the time to look through our web site. If you have a family member or friend in the military, we are here for you. Mother's Day Tea
On May 4, 2013 we will be supporting and honoring our local Blue Star Mother members with a Mother's Day Tea celebration.
This event is a "by invitation only" event and is the only closed event we hold during our year.
Members, please make sure you RSVP your attendance by April 23, 2013
CARE PACKAGES FROM HOME
On June 8, 2013 San Diego North County Blue Star Mothers will hold their next Military Care Packaging event. Please go to our donations page to see this list of general items that are needed to help send a "touch of home" to our deployed military members. As a reminder, with the summer months we can not accept donations of chocolate. Thank you
A great way to serve our troops is to welcome them home from deployment with open arms, especially those with no family to greet them.
