Charter High School raised over $1,200.00 for the San Diego North County
Blue Star Mothers to support our troops. The school conducted a one month
long class competition donation drive with Mr. Grady's 1st period class
coming in first by collecting $273.40. |

August 2006 -We teamed
up with Norm Reeves Automotive in Temecula to send over 50 packages to troops
in Iraq. The employees each paid $5.00 per person for the right to wear
jeans to work one day. The company matched what they raised and they purchased
$1000 of items. Then we took those items, packaged them up, added notes
of encouragement and sent them off. Kathryn went over a couple of weeks
later to speak at their flag ceremony. |

Baghdad Hospital Drive
in April. We did a shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops drive for two hospitals
in Baghdad giving our wounded troops something of comfort from home while
they recover and wait for their new uniforms to arrive |
